Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small files a browser stores so a site can function. Browsers also provide localStorage for preferences and local identifiers. Where relevant, this policy refers to both together.
Essential storage
AGAT may use cookies or storage that are necessary for signing in, security, maintaining your session, basic preferences and correct site operation. These mechanisms are not used for advertising or marketing tracking.
Analytics and product improvement
Only after you consent, AGAT may store a local visitor identifier and send basic usage events such as page views, clicks, form submissions or field-type changes. The mechanism does not send the content you type, and password fields are not measured.
Your choice
On your first visit you can choose “Essential only” or allow Analytics. You can change your choice at any time using the “Manage Cookies” link in the site footer. Declining Analytics prevents usage events from being sent, removes the local analytics visitor identifier, and prevents the advertising tag from loading. It does not affect the click identifier described under “How you reached the site”.
Do Not Track
In addition to the preferences you choose on the site, the analytics mechanism respects a Do Not Track signal when your browser sends one.
Advertising and conversion measurement
AGAT advertises on Google Ads. Only after you allow Analytics is Google's measurement tag (gtag) loaded, and it reports to Google when you register or when a reading is produced. The tag sets Google cookies and is also used to build remarketing audiences. For anyone who chose “Essential only” the tag is never loaded and nothing about them is reported.
How you reached the site
When you arrive through an ad, Google appends a click identifier to the page address (gclid, gbraid or wbraid). AGAT keeps that identifier in the tab's memory only (sessionStorage), and it is discarded when the tab closes. If an account is opened in the same tab, the identifier is stored once against that account so we know the registration came from an ad. It does not identify you personally, is not stored as a cookie, builds no browsing profile and is not sent to any third party. This is kept even if you decline Analytics, because it does not measure what you do on the site — only how you reached it.
Third-party services
Other than Google Ads as described above, AGAT runs no external analytics, advertising or tracking tools. If any are added in the future, this policy and the consent mechanism will be updated before they are enabled for users whose consent is required.
