One card & getting started
One Card — Message or Focus
One card gives direction rather than analysis. Best for a daily message, a point of focus before a decision, or a simple way to begin working with tarot.
When to use this spread
One card gives direction rather than analysis. Best for a daily message, a point of focus before a decision, or a simple way to begin working with tarot.
Why this spread
One card does not analyse, it focuses. When there is no phrased question, or the mind is too full for structure, a single image you can carry through the day is worth more than three cards you have to connect. It is also the simplest way to learn the language of the cards, with no relationships between positions to hold.
