Why this spread

The difference between Two Paths and the Decision spread is one card, the "heart of the decision", and it is usually the one that changes the question. Many stay-or-leave dilemmas are not about the two places at all but about something the asker is looking for, and the centre card surfaces it before you compare. The three cards per path then have context.
